Risk reward calculator in trading view is Ideal. It displays a coloured area representing risk and a different coloured area represent reward.
Currently I have to scroll through many time frames, even though I only need 3.A faster way to switch between time-frame in a chart would be nice37 votes

should settable limit and stop order as constant... as if you set your limit or stop orders to constant then after the limit or stop orders filled, and if they stopped out after, those limit or stop orders would come back automatically waiting to be filled again.

Please could you add a freehand drawing too such as a pencil or Pen to make drawing on charts possible?23 votes
i want to be able to connect my bittrex to ctrade and trade on it8 votes
News calendar should be displayed on the chart when switched on can display its impact on the price action
My idea is to have a fundamental news button in the ctrader platform which when switched on can display which news is getting released at what time and its impact on the currency. Suppose I m trading Eur/Usd, Usd/Jpy and Gold so I can place a tick mark in the settings in front of Eur, Usd,Jpy and Gold and any news that is going to be released that is concerned with the selected objects will be displayed only on the chart and not all other currencies.7 votes

OPEN A WORKSPACE WITH A MULTIPLE CHARTS MODE
OPEN A GBPUSD WORKSPACE WITH 3 OR MORE CHARTS
WITHIN, GBPUSD DAILY, GBPUSD HOURLY, GBPUSD 15 MINUTE
LINKED TOGETHER, SO SUPPORT LINE ON DAILY SHOWS ON
ALL CHARTS OPEN WITHIN WORKSPACE
ANYTHING ADDED TO ONE CHART, SHOWS ON ALL CHARTS,
BUT WITH THE OPTION TO CHOOSE TO KEEP IT ON ALL
CHARTS OR JUST ONE59 votes
For timeframes below Weekly,
Display also the full number of units of time = calendar time periods
I would say that current definition of periods = bars actually
Calendar time periods would include pauses in the market, like weekends.1 vote
Just a simple function to select next/previous chart on tab will help tremendously especially doing multiple timeframe analysis.54 votes
During optimization, please fix your cAlgo platform to allow the equity chart to be visable for each and every pass, instead of limiting it to the last 20 passes!1 vote
The QuickTrade panel already has:
- lotsize parameter
- SELL button
- BUY button
- SELL LIMIT button
- BUY LIMIT button
- Take Profit Offset (parameter + checkbox)
- Stop Loss Offset (parameter + checkbox)
- SELL STOP button
- BUY STOP button
- CLOSE button (close all)
We need all of this in one convenient place to do efficient scalping.
Please vote my idea so cTrader can be the best scalping platform :)186 votes
We can detach a chart from ctarder as new window. What if you add an option to display with window as ALWAYS ON TOP? So we have a look on the chart even if we are doing something else on our PC.1 vote
i don't want to "cancel all" pending orders..
i just want to "pause all" pending orders ..
sometimes i have about 60 pending orders; and there is some news coming (volatility) or some other reason (may be some global event)
because of that i want to pause all orders until things clear out
paused order : means the order will not be triggered, as if it is not there
Every session as a candle would reveal so much for traders. Please see the case;
A total of 7 candles for every 24 hours period;
1. Tokyo Only Candle (1 hour)
2. Tokyo + London Candle (1 hour)
3. London Only Candle (4 hours)
4. London + Newyork Candle (4 hours)
5. Newyork Only Candle (5 hours)
6. Sydney Only Candle (2 hours)
7. Sydney + Tokyo Candle (7 hours)13 votes
It would be AMAZING if you could save your pairs' analysis for a later date. This would mean that instead of having the major 28 currency pair tabs open all the time like I do, it would be great if you could close them all down, then open them when needed, and your analysis would still be there. This would allow people like me who trade the major 8, to actually use 'Multi Chart Mode' and 'Free Chart Mode' without each of my charts being allocated 2" x 1" of screen space which is completely impossible to work from. It would be great if this was incorporated with the ability to click on a pair you want to view and check up on, then it immediately loads up in free-chart mode with 3 different time-frames of the same pair. This is how I imagine it working.
I have a watchlist of all the major 8 pairs, I click on one I want to view. It loads up on my screen with the weekly, daily and the hourly automatically. I can then analyse each time-frame separately. This would keep things very clean and it would be easy to see what is going on, e.g. I can see price at support on the daily, but it hasn't yet broken the falling trend-line I marked on the hourly. I think this will make trading much cleaner.
